"Good morning Dawn, Thank you for providing me with the names of the packers and movers who worked so hard and made my move to Allan Street proceed smoothly. All the packers-Allan, Craig, Mark and Rob--arrived on time, were polite and worked so quickly and efficiently that they were able to complete a large packing job in one day. All my household items were well cushioned and while I have not yet finished unpacking all the boxes, at this point I have not found any breakage or damage. Periodically, throughout the day, each packer checked with me to ensure all items were packed to my satisfaction. The movers--Ricardo, Matt, Mitchell and Jay--also arrived on time, were polite and worked efficiently. They worked very hard and completed a large move in good time. The whole move actually took less time than we anticipated due to the consistent work of the team. They took short breaks but essentially kept going until the truck was loaded (and worked straight through on Friday until all the household goods were unloaded). All of the gentlemen were friendly and pleasant. Moving is always so difficult and stressful but thanks to the positive attitude of these gentlemen, the move occured without incident, even finishing slightly ahead of schedule. Brian packed up and unpacked the grandfather clock, also successfully and in a short time and Mr. Wilson stopped by to ensure everything was in order. (There was a question about the wrapping of antique furniture but that was resolved.) I hope I won't be moving again in the foreseeable future, but if I decide to downsize (again) I would not hesitate to use your moving services. Sincerely, "

I think Taylor Moving just might have done my best move EVER . . . and that is saying a lot considering how many times I have moved internationally, state to state and locally. I think the count is 43 times! From the very beginning, I felt looked after and listened to. Rick, you were great at meeting our timing needs and making sure that I was being reassured about your process and your people. You were thoughtful and professional and made me feel that we were the most important customers you had. Though we never met personally, I so appreciate all your efforts to ensure that our move was handled by such talented people from start to finish. That alone took a lot of weight off my shoulders and lessened the stress a move can have. Roxy, once you got involved, everything sailed along on time and easily uncomplicated. You were always so pleasant on the phone and responsive to my questions and concerns via email too. Your follow up, even now, is amazing and you just have a easy way about handling what could be a problem with a simplicity that makes one know you have it all under control. Thanks for being there with me throughout the process. Dave was awesome - he came out to take a look at some special pieces and measure for the crates - he was efficient and understanding about my concerns of moving fragile pieces from the cold to the warm climate and made sure all necessary precautions were made to prevent damages. Besides that, he is so impressive to be doing what he does so well after all these years - I'm sure you are grateful for him on your team and your customers are certainly the beneficiaries. The packing crew did a great job. Each man worked quickly, efficiently, politely, carefully and patiently at their respective tasks. They were courteous to our building staff and cleaned up after themselves. Most importantly, they assisted in packing my jammed packed apartment in record time and solved the too much stuff in the truck issue without causing me a moment of worry. I felt extremely confident when they left - that I had been in good hands and that our belongings would show up in South Carolina on time and without incident. At this end (South Carolina), it was so reassuring to see Russell again. He had worked so hard in Toronto and the fact that he knew how certain things were packed and knew us made such a big difference over some unknown source locally who would only be interested in putting in a day's work. Russell is such a great person. There is nothing he won't do, knows what to do and works very hard. He is thoughtful and efficient and the kind of person you can trust when you are not looking to work just as hard as when you are. I'm so glad he came to do the unloading. Kyle was the biggest surprise. For being so young, I don't think I have ever met such a thoughtful and careful mover!! He was spot on, knew exactly what to do, worked well with Russell and left such a strong impression on us that his shoes will be very hard to fill if there is ever a next time. Kyle is keenly aware of everything around him, the kind of person who takes the time to stoop and straighten a carpet or pick up a little piece of trash instead of leaving it on the floor but also efficient, polite, hard working, professional and just a pleasure to work with. He will do well in this business or anything he chooses to do. I would hire Russell and Kyle again any time and would highly recommend Taylor to anyone looking for a great company to work with. Moving is very intimate and when you have basically strange people in your home touching all your personal things and entrusting your life long possessions, it is much more than just putting things in and taking them out of boxes. It's a whole experience filled with emotion and stress, a little embarrassment at your mess and hopes of a successful no damage result. Taylor delivered exactly that. I would tell you the best we ever encountered --- almost makes me look forward to moving again in a few years when our house up north is built and we can move out of the new apartment and your storage area . ( well maybe not quite yet ) The Monday crew who moved us into storage probably did most of the heavy lifting and were great BUT I have to say the Wednesday crew who moved us out of the house and into an Apartment did a superb job—elevators are always a pain you know where but these guys were great. Overall they were both well trained – very responsive – took great care of our belongings and the investment in your people showed on the front lines ."

Shane was the lead man and I can’t for the life of me recall the names of the other two young men, but they did a fabulous job and were professional as well as cordial and entertaining. Who would have thought those skinny young men could pick up three and four boxes full of stuff without a struggle. They did an excellent job and I hope that this can be passed on to them. Don’t worry, we also fed them pizza and pop and even homemade butter tarts that a friend of mine brought. I really appreciated their assistance and humour when I needed it. They made the day go smoothly in spite of the rain and even though Cogeco came before I was there and I ended up not having a phone, internet or cable until this past Thursday. "Good afternoon Russ, Roxy, As mentioned on Friday, I did want to take a quick moment to send you an e-mail to review/reflect on the service provided by Blain and Andrew last Friday (March 30th). First of all, I did want to thank you very much for accommodating my last minute request; coming from someone in the industry, when I called on the 25th, I knew I was asking a lot of you to accommodate my 4 days of advance notice. However, in my opinion, Andrew and Blain were exactly what I/we needed in order to keep the day organized, energy up (I had 2 hours sleep the night before) and achieve the desired results in such a short period of time. Specifically speaking, I was extremely impressed with how the guys conducted themselves in such a careful, efficient manner - despite having a truck that would only carry ½ of our goods, requiring us to make 2 trips, they were very methodical and worked hard every second they were at either residence. Where I found the most value added, from a customer and relocation professional standpoint, was helping the guys get the items out of the apartment, ready for loading into the elevator, and unloading into the new home - this afforded me the basic understanding of the physical demand involved with moving a large amount of goods and, maybe most importantly, the communication and organization required to make the process run so smoothly. We have been working together for a few years and you may have noted that I am proponent of manners (good ones); phrases I most often use are please, thank you and I’m sorry (I’m perfect for the service industry…). Having said that, I do admittedly tend to say these more often than ordinary; however, I’m almost certain that I said thank you to the guys for every trip they made out of the apartment and into the house (in excess of 75 times) - both gentlemen caught every thank you and returned it with a you’re welcome, or no problem. That, to me, was what impressed me the most - although I implicitly knew that the guys had to be getting tired as the day wore on, their politeness, professionalism and dedication to a job well done is what I will remember. Andrew and Blain were a perfect representation of the Taylor brand that I have come to know and it was a pleasure to work along side them. With all of the variables involved with buying and moving into our first home, I had 100% confidence that you and your staff had our best interest in mind from day one, allowing us to focus on other projects at the same time. Come the day of the move, these expectations were met and exceeded - having seen your service in action, I will continue to be a huge supporter of your business and can now attest to the quality and care provided by both your office and field staff. They knew of my situation as far as having two newborns and still in the hospital and genuinely cared that my move happened as fast as they could. They had me loaded in Kingsville about a day or two ahead of schedule which allowed me to come back to St. Catharines to see my new son and daughter in the hospital. They also were absolutely outstanding at the unload and had everything in the house and bed's built before the end of day saturday. While they were unloading the truck I had to run and get a crib and dresser so I can get the kids rooms ready and knowing that my dad was unable to really help me get it up the stairs offered to carry it up for me. Again this wasn't expected as this furniture didn't come with me from Kingsville, just one more reason on my list these guys were outstanding. I'm currently a store manager and have worked in retail for 11 years and I would be so lucky to have associates like these guys. Just wanted to share my great experience as I know personally you normally get negative feedback from customers not positive. I was most grateful for his guidance and support in what may have been the most stressful weeks of my life. He has been amazing. The move itself could not have gone better - I had the 'A' team. Kyle and Shane (apologies for not knowing last names) were just terrific. They did very good work, but were also very personable and helpful to me. They had a slightly different timeline than I did when they arrived, but were more than happy to adjust and work a long day to get both packed and loaded, then dropped some items off at storage. Kyle was extremely knowledgeable about the border crossing process and gave me good information and reassurance. When I heard I might not have them for the unload upon arrival in Toronto, I called David and asked if I could have them again! I could not have been happier to see Kyle in the driver's lounge at customs. We again had a good day and finished unloading pretty fast with the additional help from Kevin. Not one single thing was broken - not even a lightbulb (Shane is expert at packing lamps and bulbs!). We got two small items in Toronto that were supposed to be in storage (not a big deal AT ALL), but I have not yet thought of anything I was supposed to have in Toronto that may have ended up in storage. Kyle and Shane showed great care for my possessions, and that was so reassuring. And they were also nice guys - which made spending two days together not a bad experience at all. I dare say, I kind of had some fun. I simply cannot say enough nice things about David, Kyle and Shane. I have copied David on this message, as well, and I encourage you to forward it to the team leader or supervisor for Kyle and Shane (and the guys themselves if you like). Kyle is Driver of the Year (and yes, we teased him about it for two days), so I know they know he is good, but I hope he hears it a LOT. "

"Good morning Rick and Russ: When we decided to move, we obtained three quotes. John Alaimo came to our home and followed up with a quote for moving and storage. We went back to John with questions which were answered promptly and in a straightforward manner. Our plans changed regarding storage and back we went to John for a revised quote. Again, information was clear and timely. Picking Taylor was easy. A company with a good reputation and no hidden costs. We felt confident that Taylor was the company to handle our move and that confidence and trust was justified. The crew on Friday December 9 was Ed. Addam and Blaine. They worked hard and they worked smart! Everything was done methodically. They offered helpful suggestions along the way. Addam asked if we had removed the glass plate from the Microwave - we had not! A small example, however, it illustrates the attention to detail. On Saturday December 10 we had Addam, Blaine and Kevin. Again, a really good day with no issues. Access to our new location was challenging but they made it work. They were careful to place the truck so as to minimize inconvenience to our new neighbours. We are not totally unpacked yet but can tell you that our furniture and what we have unpacked is in perfect condition. I suppose everyone says they will never move again, however, if we do,we will definitely use Taylor. We would have no hesitation recommending your company. In fact our daughter intends moving in about 12 months and will be asking for a quote. Please pass along our thanks to everyone who was involved. The move went extremely well, due in large part to the efforts of Roxy at the main office and the other Taylor employees named in this letter. From the outset the impression of Taylor Moving and Storage was a good one. The assessor (Todd) who came to our Kitchener home was very polite, professional and accurate in his assessment of what was required and the time needed to get it done. The two packers (Russell and Ralph) arrived on time on both packing days and took extreme care in the handling of our possessions and those items we considered as valuables. During the unpack process we found that nothing had been damaged! This is a FIRST in our experience. The Movers (Driver, Kevin and his two workmates, Liam and James) were equally impressive. These young men are the hardest working movers we have ever personally witnessed. Again, as with the other Taylor employees, their demeanour was always courteous and even though they were tired at the end of two excessively hot and humid summer days, they continued to be upbeat and were always careful in the handling our our items. They set up our beds efficiently and without complaint so that we were able to spend the night in our new home rather than incur additional company expense by staying another night in a hotel. In summary, this was our BEST move ever. It was a true pleasure to be in the capable hands of Taylor Moving and Storage and we would recommend this moving company without hesitation to anyone. She is a jewel! The crew that loaded up in Texas deserves just as much praise. According to our Mr. Solomon ( a veteran at moving himself) who oversaw the loading, Hal Poohack and Mike Falco were exceptional in their conduct and behavior. Despite the searing heat and the high humidity, both these men exercised proper care of our belongings. Not a single one was damaged!!! When they neared our home, Hal contacted us to let us know they were 30 mins. close. They were able to get all of our household goods unloaded in about 5 hours because they knew what they were doing. And, believe me, we have lots of stuff. That was truly yeoman’s work your two men did!!! And we appreciated their attitudes. They just set out to do their jobs and they did it exceptionally well. It is people that make an organization thrive and flourish. Good people are products of exceptional management and ownership. So, you and your management need to take a bow as well. This was a team effort, and you all made it happen to your customer’s satisfaction. My family and I thank you for the pleasure of your service. "

"Mr Russ Taylor, Vice President April 18, 2011 Taylor Moving and Storage Ltd. 1200 Plains Road East Burlington, ON L7S 1W6 Dear Russ I want to thank you and your team at Taylor Moving for looking after my move on March 24th. The three man crew of Kevin, Dan and Blaine were on time, very courteous as well as hard working. Kevin kept asking if there was anything I needed them to do just ask. As it turned out there were a number of things outside of the ordinary that the crew stepped up and got it done. They even loaded a washer and dryer into a jeep Cherokee from their truck at the new house. The night before the move we had about 6” of snow so I was expecting a big mess at the old house once they were done. The Taylor Moving team took extra care to ensure the floors were well covered so as not to make a mess. They did such a good job the new owners thanked us for leaving the house so clean. The crew removed the household contents floor by floor taking extra precaution with some of my prized possessions in particular my ornate one of a kind dinning room fixture. At the new house they were very meticulous about placing area carpets, furniture and beds in the right place which in the end takes a lot stress out of the move. I have moved many times before using what appeared to be reputable firms to carry out the work but none of them measure up to the quality of service provided by Taylor Moving. I would strongly recommend Taylor Moving to anyone looking for a great moving experience. Yours Truly, "
